Collections
All online orders are subject to product availability. While most products can be produced within 24 hours certain produce ordered close to the 24 hour cut off may be unavailable the next day (especially during busy periods) so try to order as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. In the event that there is an unavailable item on your order we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.
Any hot dinners, such as roasts or pie and pasty dinners must be ordered 24hrs in advance and cannot be ordered by walking in on the day. These can be collected hot in store or can be collected ambient for reheating at home.
Collection time begins at 11am and finishes when we close at 6pm. 11am is our earliest collection time but if you require earlier collection please ask and we will accommodate requests if possible. Hot or ambient lunches are available for collection from 12.30pm.
Local Delivery
When ordering for delivery through our website you will need to order 24 hours in advance. Any hot meals from Maids of Honour for delivery or collection must be ordered the day before and via the website. All hot meals will be delivered by our Maids of Honour delivery driver. The Maids of Honour delivery slot for online orders is between 12-6pm. We aim to deliver any hot food between 12-3pm. Because we only have one delivery driver to cover a large area we are unable to give a more specific time frame for delivery of ambient produce than 12-6pm. During Key Annual/Seasonal Holidays (eg. Mothers Day) we are unable to deliver hot meals due to over demand. During these periods we can offer hot meals for collection or we can deliver meals ambient to be heated at home within the general delivery slot of 12-6pm.
If you are not in when your delivery is attempted, our delivery driver will try to contact you via the contact number that you provided on your order, and will offer to leave your order in a safe place. If we are unable to contact you regarding your order we will take the produce back to The Original Maids of Honour and you will then need to come to us to collect it. If the order isn’t collected we will not replace or refresh the items at a later date and will need to dispose of any food that becomes unfit for consumption if it is not collected.
Buying alcohol via our online shop
You must be over 18 to buy alcohol via our website. We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
Allergies
Whilst we aim to provide relevant information on our website (or in store) concerning allergens in our products, if you do have an allergy please inform staff or add a note to your online order. This allows us to check that both the product selected is allergen free and so enable us to minimise any cross contamination of trace of allergen within your order. Maids of Honour is unable to guarantee against a trace of any allergen as we cook in an open air kitchen and we do use certain allergens in many of our products.
